YPAR for Wellness

The YPAR for Wellness program is a Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) & Wellness program fit for children and youth that can be implemented during the school day or as a part of after school programming with the aim of providing a meaningful voice for youth on issues affecting their lives, health, and well-being. Young people learn skills in research, visual arts, wellness, and civic engagement.

Healthy Minds Healthy Communities

HMHC Stand Up Paddle (SUP)

This program aims to promote mental health and wellness through stand-up paddle boarding in connection with nature, psychoeducation, mindfulness, movement, and body awareness activities. Teenagers participate in the program where they learn how to stand-up paddle, along with skills for promoting their physical and mental wellness. They become mentors and co-facilitate the SUP program to younger youth in the community.
